Rules |
Guild rules and bootable
offenses.
1) Don't be a random jackass ... We are an adult guild
that loves to have fun. But do NOT turn the guild chat,
or any other chat for that matter, into the Barrens
chat.
2) Don't leet speak or IPWNUNOOBS. Don't do it unless
it's a joke. You will be warned. If you get warned for
it multiple times, you will get kicked if you don't
stop. We are adults and it doesn't take that long to
type out full words.
3) Drama, keep it for your mamma. Don't start drama in
our guild. It will be dealt with harshly.
4) You don't like how things are run, leave. Comments or
recommendations are acceptable.
5) No flaming or slamming of a player/guild, or singling
out a specific person for criticism. If there is that
big a problem with a particular player, you need to be
approaching Guild Leadership to deal with it, NOT taking
it into a public channel and making an idiot of yourself
in front of the rest of the guild. Taking a disagreement
into guild chat or posting it in a public forum is a
kickable offense.
6) Ninja-Looting. Misclicks happen from time to time. If
it becomes a problem of yours, you will get booted.
7) Do not apply to other guilds while in Backlash. If
found applying to a guild while still in Backlash
without having a discussion with the GM prior to your
application, you will be removed immediately.
8 ) No begging, from either guild members or others on
the server.
9) Don't post on Raid progression threads. We know how
good we are. We know what we have done, and how far we
are. It is only our business. If other wish to know they
can ask or do some research.
10) If you supposed to raid you are committing to being
online & ready to raid, unless you specifically sign as
unavailable we expect you to be online & prepared to
raid at the raid start time.
11) Intentional disrespect of guild members. This
includes members of all ranks, will get you booted.
12) Loot whoring. Common sense rules the day here. If "joe"
won an epic already, and "jane" hasn't, than "joe'
should pass for "jane" if the upgrades are of equal
strength. That common courtesy folks, we use it a lot.
13) Trolling BWR boards. Once or twice is funny.
Continued behavior is childish.
14) Blue Flagging people. We don't tolerate this.
15) Training mobs onto a player. We have a reputation to
uphold. Don't do it.
16) Poor raid behavior aka being late, never
self-buffed, frequent afks, etc. This is probably not a
bootable offense, but you will not be allowed to raid if
this happens.
17) Just because we are better than everybody else
doesn't mean we have to act like it. Your actions speak
loudly of your character as a person.
18) Raiding with other guilds. 10 mans are fine. 25 mans
are a no no. If you are seen raiding in 25 man content
with another guild, you will be removed.
19) Lending/selling your account to someone else: you
play your character period.
20) We ask that you play actively and participate in
guild functions whether or not you raid. If you decide
to go inactive you will be removed after 30 days unless
you have spoken with an Officer of the GM prior to this
happening.
21) No charging guild members, if you want profit go
outside the guild please.
22) Officers have kicking rights in the guild, they are
all trusted friends and comrades of mine and I will
support their decisions.
23) If you are kicked from the guild the only way you
are allowed back in is if ALL officers in the guild
approve. If you leave the guild you are always welcomed
back if you left on good terms.
24) Backlash does not use, nor condone the use of cheats
or hacks to gain advantages in the game.
25) No stealing kills, mining, herbs or skinning. If in
doubt ask.
26) Do not spend hours camping and killing the same
NPC(s) in a low level starting area. If you are bored,
try it in an area closer to your level where you might
get honor fighting other players.
27) Be willing to help others. If a Guild member needs
help and you aren't busy, then help them.
28) Instances help members not only level and upgrade
gear but also to learn how to work as a team. This also
gives us the opportunity to gather gear and items for
the Guild Bank that can be used to help all Guild
members. The more resources we have available to us, the
easier it'll become for us all to excel.
29) Do not take items from the bank just to sell them.
People contribute items in the hopes they can be used
not just sold for quick gold.
These may change at any moment and will be updated as we
go along.
